Quest Our U13s boys' rugby team enjoyed a friendly tournament against Bede and Blyth Academy. In the first match, despite starting well, Bede Academy soon showed their dominance with some excellent running to take the first game. RISE Up and Shine Last week the U15s travelled to QEHS to compete in the County Cup. SBB took the lead early on with a goal from Isaac M, QEHS equalised. SBB scored again through Isaac M. The match stayed very tight until the last 12 minutes. The very strong Hexham team scored a late flurry of goals and the game finished 5-2. Isaac M and Max B were awarded man of the match. The benefits of reading are countless, but in our increasingly busy world it can be hard to find the time to settle down with a good book. Learning As the monster makers club draws to a close the students are close to completing their monster, masks and prop projects. The students involved have learned a range of traditional and digital techniques and used them to create a varied range of props from popular computer games and TV along with their own creature design sculptures.
