Faith
Form classes have been learning about the northern saints whose names are given to our school buildings. Students were challenged to work as a group to create a banner or shield to represent the saint of their building.
A huge congratulations to Mrs Vermaas' class (11T) who designed a fantastic shield to represent St Oswald, a Northumbrian king who brought religious unity and peace to his kingdom.
Our runners up were Mrs Johnson's class (10T), Mr Dunbar's class (7H), and Mr Maccoy's class (11S).
Students enjoyed learning the stories of the saints who represent our school and it has been fantastic to see their creativity and faith in action!
