U13 Girls County Cup

Quest

This week, the U13 girls’ football team took on a strong Gosforth Junior High side in the first round of the County Cup.

The girls made an excellent start, taking a 2-0 lead in the first half, before the opposition fought back. Both teams battled hard throughout, with our girls showing fantastic determination and resilience in the second half to secure a 4-2 victory and book their place in the next round of the competition!

There were some excellent defensive performances throughout the match, with the girls working tirelessly to keep the opposition at bay and protect their lead.

A special mention goes to Erin Halton, who was deservedly named Player of the Match after producing a series of outstanding saves throughout the game!

Well done, girls! ⚽👏
