Festive Success for IT Department as Year 13 Students Conquer GCHQ Challenge

Three of our exceptional Year 13 students – Ellie Brown, Omeose Egbiremolen, and Layla Air have brought festive pride to the school by entering the prestigious GCHQ Christmas Quiz Challenge and completing it in record time, a feat that highlights not only their remarkable problem solving ability but also their teamwork, creativity, and determination.

The annual quiz, set by the UK’s Government Communications Headquarters, is famous for its cryptographic puzzles, logic challenges, and brain teasing riddles that push participants to think like real world codebreakers. By racing through the tasks and setting a new benchmark for speed, our students demonstrated the kind of resilience and innovation that will serve them well in future studies.

Their achievement is testament to the dedication of our learners, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they represented the school during this festive season
