December's Read - Not a Christmassy Tale
Learning Our Year 12's are reading Henry James’s 'The Turn of the Screw' in preparation for their next book club meeting. Horror was the suggested genre and this novel is certainly a masterclass in psychological horror, where every glance and silence teeters between the supernatural and the sinister depths of the human mind. The 6th Form Book Club Read Another Good One
Quest Our Year 12 book group met again this week to share our thoughts on 'The Catcher in the Rye' by J.D. Salinger. We had so much to say that we ran out of time! It was unanimously decided that we are 2 for 2 with our reads this year.
