Reading Transition Project: Encouraging Summer Reading and Creativity

RISE Up and Shine


As part of our Reading for Pleasure programme, students in Year 6 - 7 and Year 7 - 8 have been invited to embark on an exciting summer challenge that combines reading with creativity. Each student has been provided with a booklet full of reading tasks and creative activities. Students will earn points for completing tasks, and at the end of the summer, those with the most points will be recognised and rewarded. The completed booklets should be brought back to school in September, where the efforts of all participants will be celebrated.

We’re excited to see how students embrace this opportunity to enrich their reading experience over the summer. It’s a fantastic way to continue learning while having fun!
