RISE Up and Shine
We are thrilled to announce the exciting results of the Year 7, 8, and 9 Art and English competition, where students were challenged to create a piece of artwork that illustrates the joy and benefits of reading. This creative collaboration between the Art and English departments has brought together students' artistic talents and their love of literature.
The competition encouraged students to think about how reading enhances our lives—whether it’s the power of storytelling, the adventure of a good book, or the knowledge we gain through reading.
The winning pieces will be proudly displayed in school and will also be used as part of the branding for ""Reading for Pleasure"" across the department.
A big congratulations to all students who took part, and special recognition to the overall winners whose artwork will continue to inspire fellow students for years to come!
The overall winners were: Alicija Kierpiec, Tracey Pham and Jireh Lagmay.
