St Benet Biscop's Y10 rugby team struck fear into the hearts of Northumberland schools at the Easter 7's Tournament.

Mason P, Logan R and Niall D all zipped through the lines of defence and raced their way over the try-line. Jaime T, Corey B and Sam M all also made barn-storming breaks, leaving the opposition in their wake. Layton B, Adam H and Will R all scrummaged heroically, winning each and every battle. Mark W and Chi K tackled and rucked valiantly, showing great grit and determination. The only poor performance came from Mr Winn's dodgy refereeing...

Overall, I was most impressed by the team's self-discipline, both in the matches and whilst waiting for a frustrating amount of time for a pitch to come available for the next game, which sadly never transpired, saving Prudhoe from an inevitable thrashing!
