Quest

The U13 girls football team played round 2 of the National Cup on Wednesday 21st January. They beat North Gosforth Academy 9-1, a very impressive result, and they continue on their winning streak! Being down 3 players, the girls demonstrated brilliant resilience, with a few of them playing out of their normal positions, and in some very wet/muddy conditions.

Goal scorers were: Lucy Heatley (5), Erin McLoughlin (2), Mya Swann (1) and Niamh McCartney (1)

Player of the match went to Mya Swann, who played out of her normal position with a dodgy hamstring, she is a true team player!

Another special thanks must go to Camren Lee (Y12) for again giving up his time to referee the game, as well as to the staff and students who came down at the end of the school day to support the girls.

We are waiting to find out who we are playing in round 3 of the cup, but we look forward to updating you on their progress.
