We have made it to the fourth round of the SBB Staff Book Club for this academic year, and the students have spoken again. They have selected for the staff to read: 'James' by Percival Everett, a post-colonial re-telling of Mark Twain's classic, 'Huckleberry Finn'. Hopefully, the book won't feel quite as long and winding as the Mississippi river - we only have a few weeks to read it!

The 2024/25 SBB Staff Book Club books so far:

- 'Yellowface' by R.F. Kuang (Average rating: 3 stars)

- 'The Wonder' by Emma Donaghue (Average rating: 4 stars)

- 'The Salt Path' by Raynor Winn (Average rating: 3 stars)
