Rugby League Training Festival

RISE Up and Shine

The year 8 boys rugby team recently attended a Rugby League Training Festival at Kingston Park Stadium with a number of other school from across the region.

The boys mixed with other schools to practice the rugby league skills of tackling, playing the ball and and passing. All students showed respect in happily mixing with other players and listening to the coaches.

The whole team showed a lot of resilience in the tackles they faced from experienced players.

Special mention to Archie Minnock who helped organise the team for the event and has shown excellent self-discipline by attending all rugby sessions.
