RISE Up and Shine
Our Humanities Ambassadors took part in the Conference of the Parties event held at The Council Chamber at County Hall, Morpeth. They were representing the Marshall Islands and had to present, question and debate the issues on climate change with other schools from around the county.
Our Ambassadors Mahtab Shergill, Ethan Graham, Yaniv Grojean and Matteo Lee, presented with clarity, proficiency and urgency. Yaniv fielded questions from rival questions with gusto, precisely elaborating when required. I was very proud to see how well they worked as a team, providing a strong foundation for Mahtab to deliver a powerful and emotive speech that saw all groups praise and support the Marshall Islands. Matteo asked probing questions of other schools, which were commended by The Chamber Speaker. Ethan was the glue that bound the group together creating insightful solutions for our own school's climatic future.
Watch out Prime Minister the Humanities Ambassadors are coming through!
