Learning
A group of Year 9 students recently took part in the Enterprise Challenge, a project run in partnership with Newcastle University. They visited the campus to take part in workshops aimed at exploring university life and building key skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence.
Back at school, students took part in five weekly sessions led by Matty Tumilty from the NU Foundation, where they developed a storyboard and presentation on university life.
This week, all schools returned to Newcastle to present their work and take part in team-building activities. We’re proud to announce that St Benet Biscop won the challenge!
Special congratulations to Caiden, Lewi, and James – the overall winners.
They received a trophy, medals, £15 Eldon Square vouchers, and will enjoy a tour of St James’ Park later this term.
