On Wednesday the 19th of February, our 6th form English Language students attended a masterclass with an experienced examiner, hosted by our Trust partner Sacred Heart Catholic High School. Throughout the morning, students built their confidence approaching a range of unseen texts from different time periods, analysing how language and contexts work together to create representations.

In the final session, Year 12s were introduced to the question: how do children learn language? This is something our Year 13s have been on a learning quest to discover in recent months.
