Year 9 Athletics Success

RISE Up and Shine
On the 20th May, a selection of Year 9 students represented the school in the ENSAA Senior Athletics Competition at Monkton Stadium, the students were a credit to both themselves and the school throughout the competition. From this event, a small number of students qualified to represent East Northumberland and competed at the ENSAA County Track and Field Championships on Saturday 14th June. Results are below from the day:
Jamie Floyd finished 4th in the 800m, Isaac Munnelly finished 5th in the long jump and Lily Williamson finished 7th in the 800m. This is a brilliant achievement in a very tough competition, well done!
We would also like say a big well done to the following students who had also qualified for the event, but unfortunately could not make it on the day:
