Year 8 Art & Design are studying Expressive Portraiture, where they been exploring and experimenting with new painting techniques, expressive colour, tone, shape and mark making.​


To develop their portraiture painting skills, student's have been creating colour studies of an Artist's work to further their understanding of modelling the 3-D form of the face, and how to use acrylic paint in a variety of techniques.
