In December, we welcomed back a past student who is in her third year studying Paediatric nursing in Manchester. It was great to have the opportunity for our year 12 Health and Social Care students to hear about the relevance of their current studies and skills that they are developing and how they transfer into university life and careers. We heard about the challenges the NHS currently have and the importance of multi-disciplinary work to support different job roles. Students were left inspired as to how ready for the next step of studies they will be once they leave studying with us. We explored university life and the balance of studies and work placements within health and social care degree courses.
