RISE Up and Shine

Last week we celebrated World Values Day with a week of celebrations aligning with our school’s mission and RISE values. Students showcased proud classwork and Mission 90 achievements - like prayer, extra-curricular activities, and displayed work.

Participants received RISE stickers, a postcard from the Headteacher, and free stationery (click pens were a hit!). The English department held a values-themed poetry contest (5 KS3 winners), while Maths explored meaningful numbers (2 KS4 winners).

A pop-up voting station run by Shine Ambassadors saw 94% of 500+ votes favour retreats as the top RISE activity.

The week ended with extended form time for reflection, prize draws for RISE Receipts (Years 10 & 11 led), chocolate treats, guided reading from Heroes by Marcus Rashford, and values-themed fortune tellers.
