World Kindness Day and Anti-bullying Awareness Week

RISE Up and Shine

Our students raised awareness of anti-bullying week through celebration of the word and form time activities last week. Students were supported by 6th form leadership students to vote as to how strongly they agreed with the statement 'I know someone in school who I could tell my worries or concerns'. Thankfully, the majority of votes were for strongly agree/agree.

The week culminated in celebrating World Kindness Day whereby students engaged with random acts of kindness by writing over 240 postcards to our staff in school. The positive impact on our whole community was immeasurable and really lifted the spirits of our staff body.
