10Y3 have been impressing in their English Language lessons this month. They have been exploring how writers structure stories to build suspense and tension and have studied extracts from 'Jaws', 'The Life of Pi' and 'Jane Eyre'.

They have risen up and quickly got to grips with new terminology such as in media res and deus ex machina and have shown a secure understanding of how to structure GCSE responses.
