The U13 girls’ football team have made an excellent start to the East Northumberland 9-a-side league, showcasing some fantastic football, teamwork and determination throughout their opening fixtures.

**Results so far:**

St Benet Biscop 1–0 Dukes

St Benet Biscop 2–2 Bede Academy

St Benet Biscop 5–1 Newminster

St Benet Biscop 2–0 Blyth Academy

St Benet Biscop 0–2 Chantry

A special mention must go to Evie Hall (Year 12), who has refereed all of the team’s matches, and Ava Graham (Year 9), who has attended fixtures to support the team and help coach the younger players.

Their contributions are a wonderful reflection of the positive culture, teamwork and sense of community that the girls have built within the school’s football teams. It is fantastic to see older students supporting and inspiring the next generation of players!
