Summer Reading Transition Project: Sparking a Love for Books in Year 7s and Year 8s

This summer, our new Year 7 and current Year 8 students embarked on an exciting reading adventure as part of our Summer Reading Transition Project. Designed to inspire a love of reading and support students as they move through the school year, the project encouraged everyone to dive into a wide variety of books across different genres and themes.

In addition, in order to celebrate creativity and deepen engagement, students were also given the opportunity to gain bonus points through completing creative tasks linked to the books that they read.

We are thrilled with the enthusiasm and dedication shown by our young readers over the holidays. This project not only supported their transition between key stages but also helped foster a community of readers eager to share stories and ideas.
