8CI are currently studying Gothic Fiction in English and are proving to be very talented writers. They have been using a range of literary devices including sinister similes, petrifying personification and all the terrible tropes of the genre to great effect! They are certainly rising up to the challenge as they learn from classic horror writers such as Mary Shelley and Bram Stoker.
