Over a few months, students collected over 7,000 plastic bottles and pieces of trash which were then used to create art, including this bottle top masterpiece. “We are putting the bottle tops in a mural to save the world”, said one student.
One of the lead teachers on the bottle top mural was Mr Feeney, who said, “We wanted to make a mural or art piece for the school, but realised how much plastic we all used on a daily basis, and thought how we could combine the two to create a message through art.
