Year 9 Science Dove Marine Laboratory Trip

Year 9 worked with Newcastle University to explore Marine Biology at the local Dove Marine Laboratory.

They took part in field work by exploring the organisms found in rocky pools, took part in a workshop where they looked at the importance of algae and then pitched business plans to students from another school.

The organiser praised their hard work, excellent behaviour and enthusiasm on the day-they definitely deserved the quick ice cream break they had!
