Quest

It was Festival Friday at Percy Park, but with gum shields instead of glow-sticks.

In game one, we faced our toughest opponents, but there were some pockets of excellence, such as Caleb Johnstone's powerful 'pick and go's and Ethan Naruma Tuiloma's barnstorming try.

By game two, we had found our rhythm. The try of the tournament was scored by Lennox Oliver, thanks to excellent off-loads by Archie Minnock and Henry Tong. The crowd (Mr Winn) went wild. The defence proved sturdier as well, due to some terrific tackling by Ben Chaffey and Connor Bacon (who only narrowly missed out on a try of his own). Henry Moore and Jaden Doherty-McMenamin proved to be tireless, always there in amongst the action.

In game three, we took an early lead with an excellent break-away try by Henry Tong, and with Lincoln Stanbury leaving the opposition in his wake, the second was not far away.

Overall, the team showed resilience and respect, playing with passion until the very end.
