This term, some of Year 7 have been in Food Technology where they have been learning all about working hygienically and safely in the Food room – learning safe knife skills, oven safety, how to ensure they have a balanced diet by following the Eatwell Guide, and developing their confidence in following a recipe and method correctly.


This week they explored whether a savoury “cake” can taste good! The savoury muffins were a huge winner during the taste test!
