Members of the monster maker’s club took a break from designing their own monsters and props to experience up close one of the universe’s greatest monsters, a Dalek!

They took turns to get inside, have the top put on and operate the screen accurate replica prop complete with that unmistakable modulating robotic voice and flashing dome lights.

The prop was built by Mr Phillips utilising the technologies and tools available to students in the DT department.
