We’re excited to celebrate a fantastic achievement by one of our students! Lacey-Mae Morton, aged 13, from St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy, has had her story published in the fiction collection Grim Tales.
Her story, “What Is in the Garden?”, is a suspenseful and scary tale featuring a mysterious pair of beady eyes peeking through a bush. Lacey-Mae’s vivid writing creates a chilling atmosphere that keeps readers on edge.
When she heard her story had been published, Lacey-Mae said she felt “really excited, happy and proud.” She’s already looking forward to writing her next story — and we can’t wait to read it!
At St Benet Biscop, we’re proud to support creative writing and celebrate student success. Lacey-Mae’s achievement shows what imagination and hard work can do. We’re excited to see what she writes next!
