Geographers Live with Steve Backshall

Celebrating World Ocean day, year 7BH/Ge got to watch a live broadcast in partnership with the Ocean Conservation Trust. They joined Steve Backshall ( explorer and TV personality) live underwater from the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth. They investigated life beneath the waves, exploring ocean habitats and ecosystems, and gained insight into real-life conservation efforts.

An Inspiring and empowering hour making our Geographers appreciate, protect and take meaningful action for our ocean health both locally and globally. Although our questions were not answered personally by Steve, our interest in ocean based industries, protection and research careers has really made a splash!
